**Overview**

**Location**:200 King St W, Dundas, ON L9H 1V4

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk in or call.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding services, repairs, and general vehicle maintenance in person or over the phone.
- Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics, ensuring the shop's calendar is optimized.
- Obtain necessary information from customers (e.g., vehicle make, model, issues, history) to assist mechanics in performing accurate diagnostics.
- Provide estimates on repair costs and timeframes based on input from the service technicians and shop management.
- Process customer orders, warranties, and payments efficiently, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Liaise between customers and mechanics to ensure clear communication and customer understanding of repairs and services.
- Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction with services provided and address any concerns or complaints.
- Maintain a clean and organized customer service area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Promote additional services or products, such as extended warranties or vehicle accessories, to customers.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring parts and supplies are ordered as needed.
- Manage customer feedback and resolve any service-related issues with a focus on customer retention.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or automotive-related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally in an automotive or mechanic shop environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of automotive services and repairs is preferred, though training will be provided.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of mechanics, technicians, and shop management.
- Positive, customer-oriented attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a busy, sometimes noisy environment.
