The newly listed company will become North America’s leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop. **Description**: **Objective** On a daily basis, ensures the batching (production) of the concrete complies with laboratory specifications, while meeting the clients’ needs. In addition, dispatches and schedules concrete mixer trucks to ensure timely delivery of the concrete and good customer service, all according to the clients’ orders and at the lowest cost.**Responsibilities** Safety: - On a daily basis, check the cleanliness of the site (site safety). - Ensure that all the employees, yardmen, drivers, mechanics, contractors and other persons on the site are all working safely and wearing their PPE and, moreover, perform inspections on a regular basis to track the progress of the tasks and the work. Production: - On a daily basis, perform a mechanical inspection of the plant (visual inspection, detection of unusual noises, lubrication, vibration, inspection of belts, etc.) - Before the start of each shift, check and measure the humidity level of the raw materials (stone, sand) and, in so doing, perform a visual inspection of the conditions. - Batch the concrete and dispatch the concrete mixer trucks to the different work sites according to the required specifications, and ensure compliance of the concrete delivered. - Order raw materials according to the orders placed or the expected demand. - In charge of planning the schedules of the drivers (concrete mixer trucks) and the yardmen regarding deliveries and the next day’s production. Inventories: - Enter receipts of raw materials in the " Command Batch " system and track them according to reports produced by the " Command Batch " system. - Produce the end-of-day reports (Inventories, receipt and consumption of raw materials, product volumes (m3), formulas, etc.) and relay the information to the next person on shift as needed. - Conduct physical inventories (raw materials and other) with one’s director at the end of each month. Administration: - Take phone orders and promote our Turbo & VAP products during COD orders and with clients. - On a daily basis, check the receipts and forward them to the invoicing department. (Includes verifying the receipts, Wait times - Superplasticizer, etc.) - Check the starting and leaving times and the lunch and other breaks, according to the collective agreement, of all hourly employees and/or prepare the daily report of the deliveries made by the " Broker " trucks by checking the zones for each of the delivery receipts. - On a daily basis, check the cash sales as well as the use of the concrete mixer trucks (Lafarge, Broker, internal and external leases) and track such use with one’s director. Optimization and communication: - On a regular and daily basis, communicate with the batchers/dispatchers of the other plants to optimize the use of the fleet of concrete mixer trucks and of the personnel for the current day and the next. - Maintain constant communication with the director, keeping him informed of any plant breakdown, production/delivery problem, or health - or safety-related incident. Specific accountabilities: - Batch the concrete according to mix designs - Plans raw materials orders and RMX deliveries - Ensures the reception of raw materials in SAP and command batch. - Performa plant inspections. - Complete inventory reports. - Take lead on housekeeping and all yard work - Manage and assist with block production Dimensions: - Locations: Bearbrook RMX plant - RMX volume: 5 000m3 to 80 000m3 annually - Direct Reports: 0 - Indirect Reports: 0 **Qualification Profile**: Education & Work Experience: - Must hold a collegial degree in civil engineering (Technician) - Must have minimum 3 years of related experience in batching concrete and dispatching concrete mixer trucks Knowledge & Skills: - Must be able to work independently and be responsible and well organized - Good communicator with a keen sense of customer service - Must be able to work in a team and to cope wi
