What is the Opportunity?
A full-time opportunity as an Insurance Client Engagement Specialist (ICES) plays an important role in our successful Desjardins Agency by providing client planning, support, and relationship management.
The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating, and inspiring them, to achieve results. Poise and an engaging, empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm is the key to achieving the goals of this job. The environment is fast paced, and results oriented. While there is urgency to goal achievement, responsibility for the achievement of results needs to be shared and effectively delegated when necessary.
**Responsibilities**:
- Market appropriate products and services, identify customer needs, develop leads, and schedule appointments
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly 5 Star customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
**Requirements**:
- Customer Service Experience preferred (outside/inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing is an asset)
- Successful track record of meeting goals/quotas preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Proactive in problem-solving
- Dedicated to customer service
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain)
- Full Time Position (Not a Contract Position) 40+ Hours per week Monday through Friday.
