**Purpose**

The Compliance Specialist (RSG) will play a key role in overseeing, facilitating, maintaining, and reviewing VGW's policies and procedures pertaining to Responsible Social Gameplay.

This position will be responsible for supporting the Head of RSG to meet compliance needs in a timely manner and assist with continuous improvement of framework, policies, and procedures and assist in high level operational escalations and other duties as needed

**Responsibilities**:
**Policy and processes**:

- Drive policy and procedure development and implementation across the business.
- Review current level of compliance against each obligation and effectiveness of controls and escalate areas of non-compliance and control weaknesses to relevant stakeholders for action.
- Ensure that operations across the company comply with RSG regulations, best practice standards and company policies and procedures.

**Data, analytics and reporting**:

- Collate, analyze, and interpret compliance activity statistics in order to research, develop and implement compliance strategies.
- Maintaining records of compliance activities in order to make sure that actions are taken when necessary.

**Training and education**:

- Initiate the preparation of updated training materials to be delivered to VGW staff globally.
- Continuously add to and update training material as required by VGW policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate guidance and support in relation to RSG on an ad hoc basis in a timely manner as required with very occasional supervision required.

**Governance and record keeping**:

- Understand VGW's business model and its points of difference in the market that impact its various compliance programs.
- Ensure policies and practices are consistent with legislative, regulatory and group control requirements.
- Constructively challenge, consult and advise, whilst maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

**Qualifications, skills & experience**:

- Have at least three to five years' experience in a related function (responsible gaming, social responsibility, legal & compliance, policy and/or risk management)
- Knowledge of the gaming industry (social gaming, igaming, video games, eSports and/or casino) is a strong asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with different functions from a variety of positions from customer facing to executive
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Able to logically organize areas of key impact and take a balanced, objective approach to commercial and compliance needs.
- Project coordination experience, ability to manage multiple deliverables with competing deadlines.
- Sound computer literacy; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Valid passport as periodic travel may be required
