Slinger solutions is seeking a knowledgeable, self-motivated Alarm Technician. The Alarm Technician will be the point of contact for all things alarms for Slinger Solutions. We are looking for a detail-oriented, problem-solver to join our team. You will be installing and maintaining a range of alarm systems based on floor plans as well as troubleshooting and repairing any malfunctions.
**Alarm Technician Responsibilities**:
- Completing full installations based on provided floor plans
- Testing all features and equipment to ensure optimum functioning
- Educating customers on use, care and maintenance of newly installed systems
- Communicate alarm subscriptions to the office
- Keep up-to-date on alarm products
- Troubleshooting alarm systems, diagnosing and correcting any issues
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and regulations
- Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer related issues linked to alarm functionality
- Regularly review and update alarm systems for hardware/firmware upgrades
- Evaluate client feedback to develop quality improvement processes
**Alarm Technician Requirements**:
- Track record of excellent customer service
- Efficient and effective communication skills (verbal and typed) are required while interacting with clients and co-workers.
- Attention to detail, highly organized and possess excellent time management skills
- Punctuality to achieve assigned daily schedule
- Have the ability to multitask, drive forward priorities and stay focused in high pressure situations with quick and efficient problem-solving skills
- Work with a team and also individually. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.
- Motivate, lead, coach and work with co-workers and customers
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract required
Hourly wage is based on experience.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
