We are looking for a tax preparer for our tax office. We are a small business with a high, loyal client-base, so we are looking for someone who will join our team this tax year. This is currently a full-time contract position from roughly January to June 2025 - specific dates to be discussed and finalized.
- Overall, this is a job for someone who has good organizational and people skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- This position is primarily to do drop-off tax return work, however providing appointments to clients to prepare their tax returns will also be required.
- You will need to have knowledge of T1 returns
- Knowledge of T2, T3, GST, and PST returns is an asset, but not mandatory.
- There is light administrative work which needs to be done in order for us to keep track of things such as files and payments, but preparing T1 returns and communicating with clients as needed is the focus.
- You’re able to sit while preparing returns, but will need to stand and walk around to do things such as find files and greet appointments.

**Additionally, this position is commission based, on top of the hourly wage.**
