Our Retail Supervisor will be empowered to make customer related decisions and coach the part-time Retail staff with respect to achieving event sales goals and customer service. This role handles high traffic sales and manages product change-over. The Supervisor will also provide coverage for the full-time Retail Managers and will work a flexible schedule. A typical shift includes:

- Maintaining a high level of customer service
- Supervising part-time Retail staff in the Team Store and on event nights, and delegating responsibilities accordingly
- Handling cash, float requirements, cash drops, and financial settlements
- Pre and post-event organizing of kiosks and stands as per requirements
- Ensuring selling areas are clean and visually attractive
- Ensuring staff are completing tasks such as re-stocking merchandise, size ordering, price tagging, and maintaining merchandise displays throughout their shift
- Providing performance feedback to part-time employees in accordance with company policies
- Assisting with employee recognition and implementing regular incentive programs
- Dealing with customer questions and concerns
- Maintaining in-house warehouse cleanliness and organization before and after events
- Working with the Retail Buyer and Managers to ensure visual merchandising is done regularly and efficiently, keeping the kiosks looking fresh and maximizing space while effectively catching the eye
- Preparing for promotional events and dismantling displays at the end of promotional periods

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ customer service supervisory experience
- Completion of post-secondary courses in business or a related field is an asset
- Must be available to cover evening and weekend shifts as needed, and some day shifts
- Must be able to work Canucks home games and Rogers Arena events as needed
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment and to take on tasks independently
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn more about the retail industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
