**Job Description: Part time babysitter for an energetic, 8 year old boy every other Saturday with occasional overnight needs.**

Mother is seeking an energetic, babysitter to watch an 8 year old boy. Care will be needed every other saturday evening and occasionally be open to overnights when mom travels for work. Smoke free and pet free home. Two references and a background check will be required prior to hire.

**Position Details**:

- **Start Date**: as soon as possible
- **Location**: Burlington ON L7L 5C5
- **Schedule**:Every other Saturday evening - Hours are flexible/TBD + Occasional overnight stays (seperate rate for overnights to be discussed)
- **Rate**: $17-20 per hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Light household duties, such as preparing simple meals, unloading/loading dishwasher, tidying toys, doing kids laundry, engage child in age appropriate activities (e.g., backyard sports, bike rides)

**Requirements/Preferences**:

- Experience caring for young children (e.g., babysitting, day camps)
- Energetic and active sitter who can entertain children, lead backyard games, play physical activities and sports, go for bike rides
- Looking for a babysitting that is looking for a long term position so the boys can become comfortable
- Preferred: First Aid, CPR, and babysitting course would be nice but not mandatory

*We are not an agency: Wellthy provides Care Coordination services to families nationwide. A part of our services include presenting caregivers to our customers for potential hire. Caregivers are hired privately by each family and are not hired by Wellthy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

**Experience**:

- Babysitting: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
