**Job Description**:
What you'll be doing

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking (PBB) team, you’ll be accountable for building and growing the capability of frontline advisors including the Financial Services Representative (FSR), Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) and Associate Business Advisor (ABA) in utilizing frontline advisory tools and in providing advice to clients. As a Financial Planning and Advice Coach, you’ll be focused on improving the experience of both frontline employees and the clients that they service by building capability, confidence and consistency in the advice provided.

How you’ll succeed
- Coaching - Deliver, on demand, a broad range of expertise and integrated financial solutions to ensure that Core personal and business clients receive, tailored information, advice and quality plans. Topics cover investment, retirement and education planning, trust and estates, debt management, insurance and tax considerations, investment solutions and services and online tools. Proactively provide information and advice and flag client goal planning and consolidation opportunities which enables the sales force to anticipate and respond to client needs in a professional, consistent way. Respond to inquiries from PBB Leaders, Associate Financial Advisors, Associate Business Advisors and Financial Service Representatives and Mobile Investment Consultants through either a 1-800 line or mailbox covering a broad spectrum of topics with a goal of helping the PBB Core team build quality plans and provide quality advice to their clients. Responses are tailored to the clients’ financial objectives and specific needs.
- Building Content - Build content and facilitate the delivery of training for identified frontline roles. Write and update online publications, resources and tools. Build resources such as job aids etc. to help our PBB core team have quick and easy access to supports when needed.

Who you are
- You’re a certified professional. You are a certified Personal Financial Planner (PFP). You are bilingual in English and French
- You can demonstrate experience in financial planning. You have a well-developed financial background and knowledge of CIBC investment and savings products and services. You have a minimum of three years of relationship management and financial planning experience. It’s an asset if you have experience in providing personal financial planning for small business owners.
