About The Opportunity

Position Summary
Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

Essential Job Functions
- The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent _may perform some or all_ of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned._
- Maintain daily, monthly work order and cycle counts performing inventory adjustments to meet the customer needs and business flow
- Champion and troubleshoot inventory control problems in a timely fashion
- Understand key processes, tools and operations for efficient movement of goods through the manufacturing process
- Thorough knowledge of SAP to perform daily, weekly, and month-end reports
- Keen ability to drive organization’s policies and procedures and guiding the facility’s processes
- Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
- Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
- Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
- Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
- Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility

Education & Experience
- High School or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting
- Frequent walking and standing required
- Occasional lifting require
