**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced **Surveyor** to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is based in Edmonton, AB, with occasional travel to out-of-town project sites. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are built to exact specifications—accurately translating design into reality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform site surveys, establish control points, and complete layout for civil, mechanical, and structural work.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to provide precise measurements and coordinates.
- Operate and maintain survey equipment (total stations, GPS, levels, etc.).
- Verify dimensions, elevations, and alignment throughout the construction process.
- Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, and as-built data.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve layout or design conflicts.
- Ensure survey practices comply with project specifications and safety requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum **5 years’ experience** as a Surveyor on civil infrastructure projects, including water/sewer installations, lagoon infrastructure, and structural building construction (required).
- Diploma in **Civil Engineering Technology** or **Surveying and Geospatial Engineering Technology** (required).
- Experience with **Trimble survey operating systems and Trimble Office** considered an asset.
- Experience programming and coordinating equipment with **grade control systems** considered an asset.
- **AutoCAD, Revit and/or Civil 3D** experience and the ability to load documents into survey equipment would be considered an asset.
- Strong ability to work in a multi-discipline environment.
- Excellent work ethic with the ability to learn quickly and take direction.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Capable of handling and transporting materials by hand and using power tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and alignment with Sure-Form’s safety culture.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation to project sites.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects (typically one week at a time).

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
