*Location:* Truro

*Position:* Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) / Personal Support Worker (PSW)

*Schedule:* Full-time / Part-time / Casual

*Responsibilities:*
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming.
- Encourage and support residents in maintaining their independence whenever possible.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding residents, staff, and organizational information.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment, following facility infection control policies.
- Maintain accurate records, update resident charts, and report any changes in condition.

*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Standard First-Aid and CPR certification.
- Completed or enrolled in a CCA/PSW program.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Physically capable of performing duties that can be physically demanding.
- Reliable, punctual, with a strong attendance record.
- Registered with the CCA Registry.
- Previous experience in geriatrics is an advantage.

*Job Type:* Full-time / Part-time / Casual

*Pay:* $35 per hour(Pre taxed)
