Construction Project Coordinator

**Title**: Project Coordinator

**Location**: Mississauga, Head Office

**Type**: Full Time (Permanent) Monday to Friday with Occasional Weekends (as required)

**About CMI Solar Inc.**:
CMI Solar, a leading provider of solar energy solutions, is looking for a highly motivated Solar Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Solar Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and successful completion of solar projects.

**Position Summary**:
As a Solar Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and successful completion of solar projects. You will work closely with our Engineering, and Sales teams. This is a vital role that will focus on multiple areas within the organization. You will report directly to the Senior Project Manager. This position is an in-office position with site visits (as required)

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable vehicle
- In Office Position (Mississauga)

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Participate in tender and contract preparation as well as work with the Project Manager to assemble bids, track inquiries and requests for pricing.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to with a high degree of communication
- Participate and assist in client meetings and ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner and coordinating post-sale to pre-installation process
- Identifying project milestones as per schedule
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, adjusting as necessary and ensuring contractual agreements are maintained
- Coordinate logistics for on-site activities, including site visits, deliveries, hardware, tools, equipment, and installation.
- Prepare and assist in maintaining and distributing project related documentation (meeting minutes, RFIs, change orders, site instructions, etc.)
- Ensure standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance tests
- Prepare and manage progress reports and project reports in a timely manner and
- Manage project closeout process
- Other work as required

**Qualifications**

**Education and Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in related field (engineering, construction, project management, etc.)
- _PMP Certification would be an asset_

**Experience**:

- Three (3) years of experience as a Project Coordinator in a residential and commercial construction setting
- _Solar experience or demonstrated understanding of the solar industry an asset_

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans

- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
