Cleaning, and Content Cleaning Manager

Overview: The Contents/Cleaning Manager’s job is to set up and maintain systems for moving, cleaning and handling contents damaged after a fire or flood. The duties would include managing the work flow, setting up and maintaining systems for tracking all contents, work job flows and systems for cleaning procedures.

Overall Responsibilities:
Customer service; Restoration and other production labor; job clean-up; completion of projects on time as specified; maintenance of job records. Cleaning and Development of an efficient cleaning/contents process

**Skills**:

- Minimum 2 years in Managing
- Minimum 2 years in cleaning
- Understanding of garment cleaning and handling
- Proven history in Management
- Management Duties. You are responsible for moving, cleaning and controlling the cleaning process of water and fire damaged contents. You are responsible for assisting with emergency services for water and fire damaged property including but not limited to cleaning and/or assisting reconstruction when needed. You are to turn estimates into completed work and Invoice work completed. To be successful in this position, it is important that you are a good administrator with exceptional organizational abilities. You will also have to have a good working knowledge of the cleaning industry.
- Job profitability - Job costs will be measured on all projects. You should also analyze how you can improve the job profitability. Timely job completion.
- Locating and utilizing subcontractors - subcontractor utilization is a key in maintaining a low overhead, creating a flexible production staff, planning profitability and timely completion of jobs. A small staff of production personnel should be used to maintain service levels, respond to emergency services, complete urgent tasks and punch list items and take care of tasks when subcontractors are not readily available.
- Efficient use of production employees
- Pre-planning jobs - materials, labor, etc.
- Orders material in advance and have on site for labor. The materials list should be prepared in advance and available on the job for your production staff.
- Proper file documentation
- Keeps clients updated on status of job and schedule.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Timely and complete communications with the office
- Duties
- Ability to positively motivate others - As a manger, you are looked upon to be a positive and motivating force in the organization.
- Working with and managing other cleaning staff/subcontracted staff as needed to ensure efficient completion of jobs
- Self-motivated and able to work individually or with a partner on cleaning smaller jobs
- Convey positive image of the company - your personal appearance, attitude and actions convey a message about the company. It is important that you plan and implement the message that you want to communicate.
- Provide valuable insight for improvements - as a manager in this company, you are expected to assist in solving problems and in making this a more effective organization. To that end, you should be actively involved in finding new solutions to existing problems.

- Customer communication - the key to creating a cheerleader customer is in maintaining timely and professional communications, before, during and after the work is complete. You cannot over-communicate, especially on a residential project. On a commercial project, establish as much of the communication schedule in advance as possible. The following communication issues are essential to managing our customer’s experience with our company:

- Reaction to customer concerns - no matter when you are notified of any customer concerns, you should respond immediately. Even if you don’t have an answer to their concern, at least listen to their issue and then make a commitment to address their concerns at a specified time.

Renumeration

$24-$26 per hour - depending on experience
