Automotive Apprentice

Holt's Automotive is looking for a dedicated 1st or 2nd year apprentice to join our team. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Clean workspace
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
- Executing repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Perform all standard maintenance services and inspections
As the mechanic apprentice, you will be working under experienced mechanics to learn the trade and advance your career.
To be successful as a mechanic apprentice, you should be good with your hands and have strong attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license
Ability to work effectively with computerized systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Own your own tools
Work Schedule Our Service hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 to 4:30
**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fort Erie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License (preferred)
- Journeyman (preferred)
