We are seeking highly qualified field service professionals to support our product implementation efforts within a major hospital system in Montreal, QC. Qualified Field Service / Biomedical Technicians will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, and performing preventive maintenance on medical devices in the hospital environment. Current product line being supported is an IV infusion pump. Prior experience as a Biomedical Technician within a medical environment is preferred, but not required. Intermediate technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment are required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical upgrades
- Preventative Maintenance
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble complex medical devices
- Troubleshooting of equipment
- Follow up with key accounts
- Provide professional expertise to end users.

**Requirements**:
- Biomedical Technician degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience as a Biomedical Technician
- Experience with maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of equipment
- Hospital or industry experience required
- Infusion therapy equipment experience is a plus
- Can commit to minimum of 6 weeks of contracted work beginning in early June (40 hour weeks)
- Excellent communications skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to problem solve effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 pounds
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week
Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
