Job description
We are a small privately held company with deep roots in the construction industry located in Headingley Manitoba. We produce a wide variety of corrugated cardboard products for the concrete construction industry across Canada and the United States.
You will be responsible for physically handling products raw and finished and ensuring they meet quality standards. Building finished products that meet quality and customer requirements. A Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility who can work well with others or unsupervised.
You will usually work as a team under the direction of the Team Leader carrying out several tasks within the same shift.
- Reliable mode of transportation, **No bus service available**
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to bend, kneel and lift
- Learning and assisting in a variety of activities throughout the day
- Recording accurate results on production sheets daily
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks
- Ability to read a tape measure preferred
- Forklift experience preferred, but willing to train
- Table saw experience
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
