Dispatcher - Security

Experience
- 2 - 3 years dispatching
- 3 - 5 years security industry

**Qualifications**:

- *Prior Dispatch experience is required
- Current and valid Alberta driving license (Class 5)
- Level 4 - 5 English skills - speak, read, write
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication, with sound judgement & problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal de-escalation skills for guard - client - vendor interactions
- Strong ability to multi-task and perform under stressful conditions
- Have strong crisis & emergency management skills
- Knowledge of creating, developing, managing and maintaining guard and staff schedules
- Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of city streets, routes, communities and traffic/road/weather conditions
- Strong computer literacy skills w/broad knowledge of computer software programs and apps
- Knowledge of OH&S and Safety programs (COR definite asset)
- Superior leadership, decision-making and management skills
- Handle all incoming radio, phone and in-person calls of either emergency or non-emergency nature
- Escalate or de-escalate all calls to appropriate dept, person, supervisor or resource
- Use of two-way radio system, company cell phone system, and company multi-line phone system
- Dispatch security and security services to calls and disturbances/issues as required, including critical personnel,police (EPS/RCMP), fire (EFD), and medical (EMS)
- Provide detailed documentation of all activities, radio dispatches, and calls in Dispatch and site event logs
- Coordinate and manage daily/nightly dispatch operations, ensuring timely, expedient and efficient delivery of such
- Maintain organized and up-to-date spreadsheets and databases of security and company(ies) resources, schedules, and client/site information
- Monitor, document and provide support to all CCTV and monitoring stations and clients
- Review of all reports generated thru Company’s state-of-the-art online reporting software

**Responsibilities**:

- Allocation and dispatching of security personnel and staff to address issues and to execute and service client contracts
- Oversee schedule and adjustment of such for all security operations, company projects, and tasks assigned
- Manage employee schedule on daily basis, ensuring all shifts and commitments are covered and met, by the qualified and appropriate staff
- Review, management and disbursement of all shift/patrol/incident reports, vehicle and site audits, and guard/site assessments
- Ensuring all Company Policies and Procedures are met and followed
- Constantly maintaining and reviewing all COR and OH&S Safety mandates and processes
- Knowledge of and maintaining all applicable HR policies and process for staff and team members
- Assist with all company, equipment and fleet operations, and mechanical and maintenance issues
- Monitor and maintain driver/client Keys inventory, and Key Control system for guards, clients and vendors
- Create, develop and maintain on site and electronic Post Orders/Duties binders
- Create, develop and maintain on site and electronic COR/OH&S/Safety binders - reports - forms
- Contacting Clients - Keyholders - Vendors - Contractors to provide information to related and ongoing site/bldg./property security concerns and matters, including critical and emergency issues
- Gather/maintain/file all vehicle - equipment - personnel inspections and audit forms for supervisors and managers review
- Strong commitment to providing superior and excellent customer service to all clients - vendors - staff whilst maintaining the utmost professional demeanor
