**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/framer to construct a structural framework for a new single family dwelling. Must have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing framing, walls and roof. Must have knowledge of building codes to construct a house from the ground up. The Carpenter will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities**
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, doors, windows and cabinets if possible.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing.
- Execute concrete forming tasks for various projects.
- Conduct siding installation
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and masons, to ensure project completion.
- Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by job tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $18.33-$34.24 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
