**Position**

Join the NEW WEST GROUP of Companies as a full-time **Coordinator - Equipment Check-in/Check-Out**, where you will oversee the seamless flow of our rental equipment. Your role will involve managing the staff responsible for processing equipment check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all paperwork is accurately inputted into the system, and maintaining a smooth and timely flow of equipment orders and returns. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing new processes while maintaining current ones to optimize operations.

**Responsibilities**

As a **Coordinator - Equipment Check-in/Check-Out **on our team, you will:

- Supervise all check-in/check-out staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of equipment returns and dispatches, with proper recording on paperwork.
- Input all check-in and check-out paperwork into the system, verifying accuracy and ensuring proper documentation.
- Coordinate between the order desk and the check-in/check-out team to ensure equipment deadlines are met and processed efficiently.
- Ensure that all equipment entering and leaving the yard is accounted for and tracked accurately, in line with pre-established standards.
- Assist and guide check-in/check-out staff to maintain performance standards, adapting to equipment volume fluctuations as needed.
- Help implement and refine new processes, ensuring they are aligned with operational needs and improve equipment flow efficiency.
- Support in the development of current processes to ensure continuous improvement and optimal staff performance.
- Step in to assist with equipment picking and returns during times of high demand or when short-staffed.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role within the industry preferred.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a supervisory role required.
- Proven ability to lead a team in equipment check-in/check-out operations, ensuring targets and objectives are consistently met.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, with the ability to develop, refine, and address gaps as needed.
- Proficient in computer systems and software, with a focus on accurate data entry and documentation.
- Adaptable and able to handle varying workloads and operational demands.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on ensuring paperwork accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between multiple departments and teams.
- Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 80 lbs.
