**What You’ll Do**
- Investigate claims submitted by customers, reviewing documentation such as inventory lists, photos of damages, and statements from movers.
- Conduct interviews with customers, movers, and other involved parties to gather relevant information.
- Assess the extent of damage or loss to goods and property.
- Determine whether claims are valid based on AMJ policies, legal requirements, and insurance coverage.
- Ensure all claims are properly documented and filed in the AMJ’s claims management system.
- Maintain detailed records of the claims process, including communications with the customer, evidence gathered, and resolution status.
- Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure proper handling of claims.
- Communicate effectively with the moving crews or drivers involved to gather relevant information regarding the cause of the incident.
- Manage the payment process for approved claims, including issuing checks, arranging for repairs, or organizing replacements.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level management.
- Work to minimize company liability by ensuring that all claims are processed thoroughly and fairly.
- Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
- Other duties as assigned
