We are looking for someone pretty special to join our People Team.

Now about the job.. reporting to the Lead Business Partner, People & Culture, the Coordinator provides administrative support for various people and culture projects, programs, and procedures for our Corporate Operations. Supporting our award winning brands and shows. The position plays a key role supporting the management teams across various client groups, and is seen as a vital part of our People & Culture team.

About You

**You’ll be working on things like**:

- Provide administrative support on a wide range of HR activities and transactions; handle various incoming queries and administration from Employees and Managers and various other People procedures.
- Assist in the administrative processes related to Hiring, Disability Management and People related inquiries such as drafting offer letters, employment verification letters and advising employees on policies and processes.
- Prepare various employee related calculations and associated documentation based on relevant legislation and Corus policies.
- Utilize effective communication skills to provide proactive support for multiple markets across Eastern Canada
- Work in conjunction with the Lead Business Partner, People & Culture on various projects such as, but not limited to, recruitment support, policy & process implementation, and other functional initiatives/programs as they arise.
- Assist with special projects, initiatives, reporting and documentation, as required.

**If you have the following we want to hear from you**:

- An understanding of Human Resources best practices and legislative regulations (Federal) in order to provide sound administrative support.
- Positive and collaborative team member with strong communication (both verbal and written) required.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ideally 1 to 2 years of relevant human resource experience.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Professional, friendly manner and exceptional customer service skills.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Office, HRIS and ability to compile statistical information.
- Related post-secondary education required.
