It's a place where you can genuinely make an impact - and be recognized for it. **Your Role**: Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering high-value, timely, and relevant financial information to key stakeholders at Global Relay. The Financial Analyst will compile, analyse, and communicate critical information to support the strategic decision-making of the business. With an appetite to both deeply understand historic results while also planning for the future, this individual is a key contributor to the collation, organization, and analysis of Global Relay's financial information. Working in a business that is growing internationally and expanding its service offering, the Financial Analyst has an incredible opportunity to sit in the front seat of a dynamic environment and to provide critical information and guidance to Global Relay's key decision-makers. **Your Job**: - Preparing financial reports, metrics, and analyses at month, quarter, and year-end to communicate financial results to key stakeholders - Working with senior Finance and Accounting team members to prepare and analyse budgets and rolling forecasts - Creating, maintaining, and improving financial models to assist with retrospective and forward-looking financial analysis - Owning and transforming financial analyses of key performance indicators (e.g. subscription revenue patterns, customer churn, cost behaviour) and effectively communicating results of analyses with stakeholders - Presenting, both orally or written, metrics and findings of analyses to senior Finance and Accounting team members and/or other business stakeholders - Identifying opportunities to standardize, streamline, and modernize financial metric information prepared by the Finance and Accounting team - Participating in cross-functional projects both within and outside the Finance and Accounting team - Performing research and modelling on implications of new service offerings, accounting standards, and other transformative transactions **About You**: - Over 3 years of recent, relevant experience in financial analysis in larger (i.e. > 500 employees), fast-paced environments - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent - Experience with technology companies is an asset, particularly software-as-a-service ('SaaS') - CPA designation, or intention to pursue the CPA program, is an asset but not required - Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is an asset - Proven track record of managing competing demands and deadlines - Effective team player who is self-motivated and deadline-oriented - Strong analytical and data-motivated mindset - Highly effective communicator in verbal, written, and visual mediums **What you can expect**: At Global Relay, there's no ceiling to what you can achieve.
