**Company Description**

The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (RVYC) is one of the world's premier yacht clubs and one of the finest in Vancouver. Our mission is to promote yachting, seamanship, and fellowship among current members and those who share our values of tradition, sportsmanship, and community service, among many others. Our philosophy at RVYC is to provide excellent Member & Guest services in all that we do.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Organizing food orders from kitchen to guarantee timely and efficient food service.
- Communicating with service staff when food orders are ready to be delivered.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintaining quality control by inspecting all plates for proper presentation, garnish, and cleanliness.
- Stocking work area with appropriate plate ware, utensils, and supplies.
- Bussing, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting tables when required.
- Providing excellent customer service to members & guests
- Additional duties as required.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk up and down stairs, and work in a fast-paced environment (our food runners average 15,000 - 20,000 steps per shift)
- Able to maintain a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Provide exceptional customer service skills when interacting with members and guests.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required.
- Positive, team player who is able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality an asset but not required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
