We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and professional **Surgical Office Assistant (SOA)** to join our busy otolaryngology (ENT) practice. This role is essential to the smooth day-to-day operations of a high-volume specialist’s office and involves direct communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and medical facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently manage the daily operations of a busy clinical and surgical practice
- Maintain and coordinate multiple schedules, including clinical appointments, surgical bookings, and nursing support
- Perform accurate and timely data entry, including patient information and medical documentation
- Process and prepare medical reports and ensure timely coordination of patient care
- Handle all aspects of medical billing and patient payment processing
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and clinic protocols
- Provide administrative support to the physician and clinical team as required

**Qualifications (Assets)**:

- Previous experience working in a medical or specialist office (ENT or surgical office experience is an asset)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs), such as Accuro or similar platforms
- Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certificate or equivalent training
- Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
