Calgary, Canada Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Full time

Matrix is hiring Operators for various sites in Calgary, AB. The operators will be operating Excavators, Dozers, Skidsteers, and Bobcats.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Operate machines (Excavators, dozers, skid steers, bobcats)
- Daily maintenance of the machine
- Document all operating hours, time started, end etc
- Perform a daily safety check before operation and after
- Ensure the machine is placed in a safe position when not operating
- Take preventative measures regarding machine systems
- Take directions from the ground crew
- Knowledge of reading plans
- Follow SWP for special operations
- General bulk out
- Load trucks
- Work in tight spaces if digging trenches
- Detail-oriented and careful when detailing mechanical trenching, slab prep or foundation work and detailing of column bases

**Other responsibilities include**:

- Assisting with tarp placement over soil piles during non-working hours
- Willingness to perform miscellaneous labour duties if no trucks or other digging is required
- Attending site meetings such as crew talks or weekly safety meetings as worker rep for trade (this will rotate with everyone on site)

**Qualifications**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Must be able to follow direction

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's Licence
- Minimum 1-year experience
