EXP is currently searching for a **Project Manager - Municipal **for our Burnaby, BC Office. The environment is fast-paced, and growth orientated, ideally suited for individuals who like to take charge and are driven to build on current successes. The Project Manager will be required to develop and mentor junior staff, grow the infrastructure business, and take on a lead role in their discipline.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Responsibility for the successful delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects to Clients, through the planning, design, construction, and maintenance periods of residential, industrial, and/or commercial developments.
- Foster long-term relationships with Clients and ensure Client satisfaction throughout project life cycle.
- Project scope, budget, and schedule control for development projects.
- Mentor and develop junior staff in the office.
- Obtain all necessary approvals and permits for projects, including those from municipalities, provincial (British Columbia) and federal government agencies.
- Ensure quality control and design standards and compliance is maintained from inception to completion.
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders (e.g., clients, contractors, approving agencies, planners, other consultants, residents, etc.) as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Proven experience in facilitating and promoting a climate of internal collaboration of work share between different internal disciplines.
- Meeting internal business metrics and targets; as well as ongoing business development activities with existing and new clients.

**The Skills and Knowledge You Bring**
- Minimum 10 years relevant and demonstrated industry experience.
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) from British Columbia.
- Possess proven track record of developing relationships, writing, and reviewing competitive proposals.
- Experience working with clients in both the public and private sectors.
- Experience on municipal / government lead projects would be an asset.
- Leadership experience and people management skills, including the ability to develop staff and manage teams in a changing environment is an asset.
- Strategic, analytical and practical thinker.
- Ability to analyze challenges/issues and determine priorities in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines.
- Solid client development and management skills.
- Help to attract, grow, and retain top talent.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
