Quality Assurance Manager

We currently have an opening for a full-time, career-oriented individual to serve as a Quality Assurance Manager at our client's facility in the Regina region.
Specific Job Duties:
- Ensure cannabis products (dried flower, extract, and edible) are produced, packaged, labelled, stored, sampled, and tested in accordance with Cannabis Regulations, GPP, and SOPs
- Lead QA team in deviation and CAPA reporting, and root cause investigation
- Assist in the release and approval of cannabis intended for sale
- Manage employee training and assist in the development of employee training materials; provide ongoing guidance and training to staff on SOPs and regulatory compliance
- Generates validation protocols and reports
- May participate in the quality inspections and audits of outsourced manufacturing facilities and supply chain
- These include, but not limited to original submission registrations, renewals, notifiable change, supplements, class labeling, annual DIN notifications, variations, and written responses to queries
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor of Science and/or technical diploma in biology, food science or equivalent quality field 2+ years of experience
- Quality Assurance experience within a regulated environment (i.e., food, cannabis, pharmaceutical); experience in a food production environment is preferred
- Experience with sales to provincial boards (OCS, BCLDB, AGLC) is an asset A valid
- Health Canada Security Clearance
- Willingness to work various shifts; weekend shift work may be required
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Self-starter; ability to perform duties with mínimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
