_**BEHAVIOURAL SUPPORTS Lead**_

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Practical Nurse with current CNO registration

3 to 5 years nursing and minimum 1 year management experience in LTC

Advanced education and experience dealing with behaviorally complex residents and with integrated health teams

Current CPR Certificate required

**Skills**:
Strong leadership & teambuilding skills

Exceptional communication skills

Demonstrated experience in adult learning and coaching teams for high performance

Comprehensive knowledge and experience with behaviorally complex residents

Demonstrated collaborative, person centered approach with residents, families, staff and internal and external inter-professional teams

**Areas of Responsibility**:
Develops, implements and evaluates the Behaviorally Complex Program according to the requirements of the Behavioral Supports Ontario Project

Oversees, assists with and directs the delivery of resident care to the behaviorally complex population

Contributes to the quality management requirements for the Program ensuring required outcomes are achieved and required reports are generated

Provides orientation and education to all Home staff; Liaises with staff in other LTC Homes sharing knowledge and resources

Ensures standards of resident care and services are consistently achieved

Ensures all MOHLTC requirements are met

Contributes to a home environment for residents that ensures the values of Primacare Living Solutions are maintained and upheld

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
