Are you passionate about coffee, food, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Good Earth Coffeehouse in Airdrie is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making someone’s day a little bet, want to meet you

**Responsibilities**:

- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest has a positive experience.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Prep and serve food choices, including paninis, salads, and desserts.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffeehouse.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and preparing food items.
- Prepare and serve food, such as baking pastries or assembling sandwiches.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and brewing techniques.
- Suggestive sell additional products or specials to customers.
- Support other team members by covering shifts when needed and taking proactive steps to improve daily operations.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is an asset, but not required.
- Strong communications skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
- Flexibility in availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Store Hours: Monday to Friday - 7am to 8pm, Weekends - 8am to 7pm.

As a barista, you will eventually be trained as a foodista who makes the food for the coffeehouse

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 30 per week
