**About the Role**

If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a unique environment surrounded by horses and racing excitement, this is the perfect opportunity for you As a **Stable Gate Attendant**, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the stable area, ensuring only authorized personnel gain access. You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for trainers, owners, and staff while upholding Horse Racing Alberta’s regulations and Century’s high standards for integrity and service.

This is a **12-hour night shift position (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM)** working on a **2-2-3 rotation schedule**, offering you a great work-life balance with every other weekend off.

**What You’ll Do**
- Monitor and control access to the stable area, checking credentials and logging all visitors.
- Greet all guests, staff, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure the stable gate and gatehouse are secure, clean, and in good working condition.
- Identify and report any unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to Security or Racing Management.
- Adhere to all Horse Racing Alberta Rules and Century policies.
- Work independently and remain alert throughout your shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the safety and integrity of racing operations.

**What You Bring**

- Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of horse racing operations is an asset (training provided).
- Must be able to work overnight and 12-hour shifts.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or racing operations is an asset.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Basic English communication and math skills.
