**Full Job Description**
Welcome to Bennys Breakfast Bar, Calgary’s unique 50’s style breakfast diner. We are proud of what we have accomplished, and we know that without our incredible teams we wouldn't be a fraction of where we are today.
As the Restaurant Supervisor - you will provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality, efficiency and superior service. This position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation of a 50’s style dining establishment.

**What you will be doing**:
Reporting to the President, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development staff.
- Lead, teach, coach and inspire a dynamic team in and to provide our guests with phenomenal dining experiences, resulting in exceptional guest satisfaction ratings. Table touching, ensuring all guests are receiving that ‘wow’ experience
- Ensure the restaurant maintains budgeted levels of profitability and maximize revenues on a daily basis.
- Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary.
- Assume responsibility for cleanliness, repair and maintenance, reporting any deficiencies as required.
- Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Recognize and correct guest service issues throughout an established presence on the floor and respond to guest concerns, quickly and professionally.
- Analyze data and trends to create strategies for improvement, while being innovative and upholding the company standards.
- Provide creative revenue generating ideas for the venue.
- Involved in ongoing food/beverage menu development and educating colleagues
- Ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll for colleagues and leaders, while maintaining an accurate vacation schedule
- Open and close the restaurant
**What do you need?**
- Passion for people - experience in a supervisor role is necessary, food industry is a perk
- Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge, as well as grow as an individual
- Dedication to learning a large database of many company procedures - including food, drinks, policies, training programs, values, processes, the list goes on
- Strong ability to communicate effectively
- Ambition and drive to create the best experience for your team and guests
- A drive to find solutions rather than point out problems
- Flexibility to work long hours
**Your experience and skills include**:
- Minimum two years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management
- Strong beverage and culinary knowledge required.
- Experience in a breakfast environment venue preferred but not required.
- Experience with TouchBistro is preferred.
- Must have a strong, proven leadership qualities and management skills including effective staff scheduling
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20+lbs and able to constantly stand and walk throughout shift
**Schedule**:
- Day shift, Holidays, Weekend availability
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
