**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to oversee foodtruck operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. This role requires a passion for the food industry, strong leadership skills, knowledge of the city of vancouver traffic, parks and neighbourhoods. ( And a Class 5 BC drivers license ). There is also the opportunity to earn more than just the base pay

**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily food truck operations, including established menu execution, food preparation, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team member to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
- Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Address any customer feedback or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in the food industry with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in restaurant management.
- Proficient in food handling techniques and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise
- Business development drive

This position will have a base pay,but also the opportunity to earn more based on how much you work and sell. Increased sales means increased pay. We need driven team members who want to work hard and find ways to develop sales -- be it a food truck event, a community event or private event bookings.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
