**Job Summary**:
As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in our team, focusing on people management, coaching, and sales leadership. You'll lead our Beer Store Associates by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and a positive work environment. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of retail management, with an emphasis on fostering a high-performing team and nurturing sales coaching.

In this role, your ability to inspire, guide, and coach the team to achieve sales targets will be instrumental in our store's success. Your dedication to customer service, operational excellence, and effective sales coaching will contribute significantly to creating a positive and customer-centric retail environment while developing your leadership skills. A strong knowledge of beer and the beer industry is an asset, but not required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership and Sales Coaching**:
**-**Lead, motivate, and coach Beer Store Associates to enhance their sales skills and maximize their potential.Conduct regular sales coaching sessions to empower staff with effective selling techniques and product knowledge, ensuring staff can confidently talk about beer.Ensure that team members can confidently provide prompt, friendly, and informative customer service while driving sales.
- **Customer-Centric Operations**:

- Ensure the store delivers exceptional customer experiences by maintaining a friendly and efficient service environment.Monitor the store for loss prevention and security purposes, taking necessary actions to address issues.Maintain a well-stocked and organized store, including restocking shelves and fridge, and optimizing merchandise displays.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- **Inventory and Merchandising**:
**-**Proactively order inventory to maintain adequate stock and product freshness.Stay aware of product demand, popularity, upcoming sales/promotions, and warehouse inventory.Maintain adequate change for cash registers/tills.Assist in implementing retail plans, advertisements, and plan-o-grams as directed by the Beer Store Manager.Assist in month-end inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
**-**Track and complete retail-related documentation, including MSS records and other day-to-day back-end documents.Collaborate with the Beer Store Manager to fulfill monthly retail plans and promotional strategies.
- **Flexibility and Availability**:

- Demonstrate a willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends and evenings when required to support store operations.

**Salary**: $46,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kitchener, ON N2B 3X9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Prud'homme Certification (preferred)
