**Job Overview**

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide virtual interpretation services via Zoom and Microsoft Teams, or in person
- Accurately interpret between Italian and English, maintaining the content and spirit of the original message
- Explain cultural nuances and customs to facilitate better understanding
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics

Qualifications:

- Fluency in Italian and English
- Deep understanding of Italian culture, customs, and traditions
- High level of comfort with legal and medical terminology in both languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for virtual meetings

Preferred (but not mandatory):

- Previous experience in interpretation
- Certification in interpretation or related field

Technical Requirements:

- Proficiency in using Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Familiarity with virtual interpretation tools and best practices

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- On call
