**ZTR is headquartered in London, Ontario, this is an onsite position.**
**As the Materials Demand and Production Planner, you will**:
- Plan and procure material based on forecast and customer orders
- Coordinate with all levels of organization especially with Commercial and Customer Care team to ensure information is accurate and timely for material
- As appropriate, prioritize, expedite orders, confirm shipments and escalate issues to stakeholders and management.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner, through production planning and communication of availability dates
- Manage Inventory of warehouses through demand monitoring and production planning
- Create executable manufacturing plan for production sub-assemblies
- Create, release and schedule jobs to meet customer orders and safety stock demands
- Print job traveler/pick lists with job instructions/drawings and make sure that all special instructions are communicated to all parties involved with the jobs
- Interact with shop floor to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or to provide additional information about the jobs
- Work with Customer Care and Logistics coordinators to confirm/advise shipping dates for customer orders
- Work with Production and Test Team Leads to ensure jobs are completed on schedule
- Complete job travelers making sure that all materials are issued and labour transactions are completed and correct
- Monitor Inventory and production related KPIs
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Relevant post-secondary experience or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience related to Procurement and/or Production Planning
- Experienced in purchasing, production planning, and scheduling systems and tools
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and problem solving skils.
- Strong math, analytical and reasoning skills.
- Skilled in MRP (Material Requirements Planning), MS Office, and ERP systems in a production environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills to work with a diversity of people and teams.
