Diesel Technician

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Diagnose mechanical issues in diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs
- Operate heavy equipment as necessary for testing and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
**Skills**
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and electrical experience is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment repairs
- Experience with industrial equipment assembly and maintenance tasks
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients
- Capability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes
