Edmonton, Canada Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) Full time

**_RAPS is Seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to Assist an Individual with MS (E12)_**

**_Location_**_: South Edmonton _

**_Hours/Days_**_: Friday - Sunday 8:00am - 12:00pm and Occasional Evenings _
- Please note_: This position will also act as coverage for the other caregivers’ days off and STAT holidays_

**_Job Description_**_: _duties include but are not limited to both manual and mechanical lift transfers, personal care/hygiene, dressing, toileting, changing of incontinence products, meal preparation and feeding assistance, medication administration, blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections, light housekeeping, supervision and companionship. _

**_Qualifications and Other Requirements_**_: must have a recent criminal record check including the vulnerable sector check, speak fluent English, have either a health care aide certificate or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in the health care field. Experience with Hoyer lift considered an asset. _

**_Rate of Pay_**_: $20.00/Hour_
