Pta - Physiotherapy Assistant

**Job Type**:

- Part-time (approximately 15 to 20 hours). Additional hours may be required due to case load or vacation.

**Full Job Description**:
We are currently looking for a part-time Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) for a busy clinic in Chatham, Ontario. This job entails working under the direct or indirect supervision of the Physiotherapist, as well as working in close contact with clients to help them implement treatment programs and achieve the goals set out for them.
- Assist with conducting exercises for clients as directed by the physiotherapist
- Document treatments and clients' progress after each therapy session
- Monitor any changes to a client’s status and report to the physiotherapist
- Administrative duties including answering the telephone, booking appointments, etc.
- Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment
- Collecting outcome measure data

**Qualifications**:

- PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively with registered therapist and co-workers as well as accept work direction when assisting with patient interventions

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
