**Job Summary**:
Our team is on the search for experienced Civil Pipe Layers and labourer's to join our growing company. We are currently looking for a Pipe Layer with experience in all types of utility construction and installations; sanitary, storm, water, communications, and hydro.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lay and join pipes for water and sewer systems, ensuring they are laid to the specified depth and gradient.
- Being responsible for the efficient installation of all types and sizes of pipes
- Install valves, fittings, and other components
- Safely assembling and installing shoring cages
- Assist in site preparation and clean-up before and after pipe installation processes.
- Cut concrete and set manholes
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Previous pipe-laying and civil construction experience an asset
- Must be Class 5 licensed and can travel across the Lower Mainland to get to work site
- Being punctual and having excellent attendance
- Ability to use small tools such as saws, hammers, drills, plate tamper
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Understand grade and setting up a laser level
- Ability to lift, handle and move 50lbs
- Must have the ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse conditions such as extreme weather
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods; handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
