Purpose of the Position:North Star Air is searching for a passionate and engaging Trainer to join our growing team You'll play a vital role in developing our employees' skills and knowledge through a blend of in-person and online training programs. Your focus will be on identifying training needs, designing effective programs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Ultimately, you'll help us drive employee engagement and improve organizational performance. Responsibilities & Duties:

- **Identify Training Needs**: Identify current and future skills gaps within the organization. Proactively recommend and develop training programs to address these gaps and equip employees for success.
- **Maintain Training Resources**: Assist with maintaining and organizing training materials and delivery systems.
- **Embrace Additional Responsibilities**: Play a key role as a Health and Safety Representative, championing a safe work environment for all. Uphold North Star Air's Customer Service Standards internally and externally. Be open to taking on additional duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Passion for Learning & Development**: You possess a strong desire to help others learn and grow.
- **Instructional Design Expertise**: Experience in developing and delivering engaging training programs is preferred.
- **Subject Matter Expertise (Asset)**: Prior experience in the aviation industry is an asset but not needed.
- **Communication & Collaboration**: You have excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- **Organization & Time Management**: You're organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- **Adaptability & Willingness to Learn**: You're adaptable and eager to develop your skills, including becoming a certified First Aid Instructor.
- **Valid Canadian Driver's License (required)**: Travel to all North Star Air locations may be required.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Dynamic Work** Environment: This role offers occasional weekend work and potential overtime.
- **Travel Required**: You'll be expected to travel to various North Star Air locations.
- **Manual Dexterity**: Ability to use a desktop computer and peripherals is essential.
