**Profile**
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Organization and Leadership: Provide leadership and management to the auditing team members through clear, concise, and constant communication and feedback.
- Set goals and objectives, performance appraisals, and individual development plans.
- Establish an accountable QA auditing team by embracing and demonstrating responsible leadership principles. Instill a culture of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews.
- Manage the DHC internal audit program, including internal audit documented process, audit planning and communication, scheduling, audit opening and closing meetings, audit records, and reporting.
- Manage the DHC external audit program, including interacting with external bodies, hosting external audits, providing adequate communication to all sites and functions involved, and organizing opening and closing meetings, reports, and follow-up of external findings.
- Manage contracts with external audit service providers and registrars in accordance with company policies, procedures, and approval protocols.
- Manage the internal and external requirements and translate them into QA processes.
- Manage the internal auditor's training, approval, and development process.
- Provide leadership and support to the QA Auditors in identifying best practices, developing effective and efficient audit techniques, and incorporating them into the internal audit processes.
- Arrange for an independent quality audit of our DHC QA system to assure compliance and integrity.
- Manage and keep ownership of the company's root cause corrective and preventive action system (RCCA) and provides training and guidance to users based on documented procedures and work instructions.
- Provide oversight of RCCA to improve the QA Auditing processes.
- Develop auditing improvement opportunities and address and document changes.
- Manage the feedback from other functions, auditees, eternal auditors, and benchmark research to improve the company QA audit process.
- Monitor and measure the QA auditing performance based on external audit results and feedback, overall effectiveness, and document results.
- Provide a monthly executive report with internal and external audit results.
- Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to support the overall QMS effectiveness.
- Prepare annual budget for the QA Audit company program.
**Experience and/or **Educational Requirements**:
- Minimum ten years experience in progressive roles in the quality profession
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an aerospace-related program or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Quality Lead Auditor
- Experience in QMS Auditing, including planning and developing checklists, audit meetings, reports, and audit schedules.
- Experience performing quality audit experience to AS9100 or ISO9001
- Experience with Enterprise or Material Resource Planning software (i.e., Visual Manufacturing or IFS) is an asset.
**Skills**
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage conflicts.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision and direction.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical documents, regulations, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and data analysis and preparing executive reports
