**Job description** Plaza Premium Group is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide transactional and administrative support to the Human Resources Team for employee information changes over the employment life cycle and for delivery of internal Human Resource services, ensuring employee data records are accurate, complete and kept up to date. **Position Description** **Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**: - Serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests - Maintain HR documentation including employee records (soft and hard copies) and ensure all HR databases and systems are up-to-date and accurate - Responsible for assisting with timely benefit enrolment, terminations, and updating benefit coverage based on employment and life changes - Support recruitment activities; screen resumes, phone interviews, manager interview scheduling, issue employment offers and background screenings - Ensure that all new hires have completed the required paperwork. Provide orientations for new employees by sharing on-boarding packages and reviewing PPG culture - Initiate the on-boarding process of employees by confirming the IT requests, issue security passes with photos and assign system access - Track and update compliance items and obtain supporting documentation including ensuring that the employees have current ID on file (valid RAIC, SIN, citizenship/PR card, etc.) - Assist with payroll administration (as required) and other related information e.g. time & attendance, leaves and OT records are well recorded - Process employee requests and provide relevant information - Coordinate HR events like job fairs, meetings and trainings - Coordinate and support employee engagement efforts - Assist with Internship or training program and ensure that all Interns receive the necessary support and guidance during their time at PPG - Prepare reports and presentations for internal communication - Oversee the coordination for new and existing employees uniforms for employees - Maintain departmental inventory and reorder supplies and pick up as needed - Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by HR Manager **What we are looking for**: - Relevant experience gained from a sizable organization and fast paced environment - Independent, critical thinker, proactive, responsible, result-oriented and detail-minded - Exemplary relationship-building aptitude - Flexible, exceptionally well organized and detail orientated - Sound knowledge of Health and Safety practices; **Conditions of employment**: - Post-secondary education with a focus on HR or business-related discipline, or equivalent - Minimum 2-3 years in HR administration, and/or HR coordinator, or equivalent work experience - High proficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) - Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance **About us**: Hello Welcome to Plaza Premium Group, we're people passionate about "Making Travel Better".
