Mississauga, Canada Physiocure Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Ctr Full time

Our clinic is a growing, multidisciplinary clinic with practitioners providing a wide range of rehabilitation services including physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy.

Specific responsibilities will include:
Respond to all patient inquiries with appropriate follow up.

Initiate and maintain patient communications during registration.

Scheduling and confirming appointments using electronic booking systems, and maintaining efficient flow of practitioner schedules on a daily basis.

Ensure billing/payment directly with clients using Point of Sale, and through insurance claim submission.

Liaison with external providers - insurance, medical offices and hospitals, to share and collect confidential patient information.

Data Input/Records Management/Project Management

Ensure all patient records and related documents are properly entered and maintained within the clinic

Ensure submission of client information with the Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance system.

Ensure submission of client information with WSIB

Skills and Experience

Minimum of 1 years experience in office administrative/management role - ideally in a medical environment where you have developed knowledge of insurance rules, billing practices and hospital/laboratory procedures.

Friendly and welcoming attitude, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.

A professional who demonstrates initiative, attention to detail and follow through.

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are a must

Proficiency/fluency in the English language (written and spoken) is a must

Medical Administration Diploma is an asset

Good computer skills, ideally with working knowledge of Electronic Booking Medical Records systems (ie TELUS, HCAI, Provider Connect, etc)

Experience working with a Physiotherapist an asset

Fluency in Tagalog, Ukranian, Polish or Korean an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
