Job Details:
Position Title: Landscape gardener

We are looking for 01 Landscape gardener (NOC 22114).

Job Duties:

- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
- Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease
- Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes
- Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
- Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
- Plant and move trees
- Tree removal

Work Environment and Setting
- Outdoors, at heights.
- Noisy and dusty conditions.
- Lawn care company, Work in employers’/client’s home, Commercial, residential, and various locations.
- Willing to relocate.

Employment Details:

- Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time.
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
- Language of work: Basic conversational English.
- Wage: $37/hour.
- Hours: 6 hours/day, 30 hours/week.
- Location of work: New Westminster, BC (employer's/client's locations). No remote work available.
- Other Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

- Education: Completion of a College/CEGEP or above.
- Work Experience: Minimum 7 months of related work experience. Landscaping experience: Residential projects. Construction specialization: Automated irrigation system, fieldstone paths, interlocking brick, ornamental ponds, fountains, waterfalls, poured concrete, retaining walls, rock gardens, stone garden walls. Area of specialization: Landscape design, landscape construction, plant knowledge, and identification
