**Food & Beverage Manager**

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage operations at Middle Beach Lodge, including but not limited to managing staff, curating menus, inventory control, quality control, presentation, best work practices and more. **Quality of service, guest experience, etc**

The Food & Beverage Manager reports to the Lodge Manager and Assistant Lodge
Manager.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manage all aspects of food and beverage operations pertaining to the kitchen and bar
- Oversee employee scheduling
- Train all employees and team leads in the Kitchen Division
- Create and curate food and beverage menus as and when needed
- Control inventory and account for wastage and cost
- Control the ordering process - F&B, supplies, equipment
- Train all staff on OH&S and cleaning safety practices
- Ensure all staff understanding basic first aid
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is always provided
- Report on revenues, costs, and operations as directed by the Lodge Manager and Lodge Assistant Manager.
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- **About you**:

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn in-house software programs.
- 1-2 years’ experience in related role.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work weekends and evenings
