Audio Visual Technician

By working with Pynx you would be part of one of the longest running and most reputable event companies in North America and we are on a mission to empower event organizers by providing top quality event solutions. The full time operations manager position we are looking to fill will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of events every single week and will be handling the crew scheduling, vehicle logistics, warehouse and project management side of the pipeline. As well, this position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining processes as they relate to the functionality of the operations of the business as required including overseeing the HR department to help solve personnel issues.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Scheduling of road show crew
- Logistics and trucking planning
- Warehouse duties
- Project management
- Equipment testing and organization
- Staff training
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the AV industry
- Knowledge in live sound with digital mixing consoles
- Class G Licence
- Reliable transportation to office and local job sites (Pynx supplies work vehicles to out of town job sites)
- Clean police background check and vulnerable sector check
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Problem solving skills and critical thinking are a MUST
- A good attitude / team player
- Punctual
- Approachable and friendly
