Halco Portables is looking for a full-time Human Resources & Office Assistant Representative.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Lead, execute and participate in the full recruitment process including job evaluation, posting, preparing and conducting interviews, reference checks, selection, employment contracts, etc.
- Oversee onboarding process by conducting new hire orientation and setting up training for ministry required modules. Liaise with Management to come up with a training schedule and timeline.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers/supervisors in the process of employee performance management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies, protocols, and legislation by utilizing HR Downloads as a resource.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee enquiries and issues.
- Engage with and support administrative functions for HR, including maintaining employee records; administering the employee benefits, disability, leave and employee assistance programs.
- Assist in administrative functions including:

- Preparing quotes, managing customer inquiries, and following up with customers.
- Answer incoming calls from customers, suppliers, and contractors, providing customer service.
- Prepare contracts for rentals and set up in the routing system.
- Daily updating, maintaining, and creating spreadsheets in google sheets, on the shared company drive.
- Invoicing daily customers.

**Requirements**:

- Human Resources, Management or Business Administration
- One (1) or more years of experience in Human Resources and/or management role with experience that has dealt with HR related issues.
- Experience working with financial systems.

**Skills**:

- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and/or Google Apps (G Suite, Sheets, Docs, and Drive)
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resourceful with the ability to influence personnel to meet organizational goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism, sound decision-making and high-quality customer service.
- Sales experience an asset
- Demonstrated accountability and self-motivation, creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Structured/organizational and analytical abilities.
- Detailed oriented, ensures work is completed with mínimal errors.
- Joint Health & Safety Committee training is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
