Nesters Market is currently seeking a **Part Time Pharmacy Assistant** for our store in **Squamish, BC**.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:Provide superior service to customers Greeting customers at prescription drop-off and pick-up Gather prescription information according to the Pharmacy Standards of Practice Effectively communicate with customers and set realistic customer expectations Ensure customers are referred to the pharmacist in a timely fashion Maintain and control the cash register
- **Pharmacy Support**:Assist pharmacist with daily dispensary duties Maintain an organized and clean dispensary Enter and maintain appropriate prescription data Prioritize prescriptions accordingly Perform duties with a high level of accuracy and diligence
- **Administration**:Answer phone calls Handle incoming and outgoing faxes according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice Accurately file completed prescriptions in a timely, organized manner Generate reports as required Prepare invoices as required
- **Inventory Management**:Receive deliveries and orders Manage and maintain pharmacy and front store inventory Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products Assist with quarterly inventory processes Manage front store planograms
- **Skills and Qualifications**:

- Customer service / retail experience is essential
- Being able & willingness to learn new skills and follow procedures is essential
- Must be a motivated and a self-starter with an all-star work ethic
- Have a flexible schedule
- Possess good communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Be a team player and be interested in learning
- Superior interpersonal skills, strong communication skills
- Able to prioritize duties and manage competing priorities
