Our Client provides travel management for some of North America's premier sports leagues and organizations. Our client is currently seeking to fill the position for a MANAGER of ACCOUNTING - this role will report directly to the President and will oversee the accounting functions for our multiple Brands in Canada and United States.

This position will be HYBIRD based, with work from Home and Head Office in Bolton.

The following responsibilities are:

- Preparation of monthy reporting, journal entries, credit card statements and reconciliations, Responsible for the timely Weekly filing BSP & ARC submissions
- Responsible for all Accounts Payable and Receivable functions - Daily Bank Reconciliation - Calculation and payments of Government taxes(HST, Corporate Taxes, EHT) - Reconciliation of Agent & Suppliers commissions - Management of Employee Benefits Plan - Correspondence with clients & suppliers to resolve accounting matters -Year-End Preparation - Correspondence with external accounting consultants -Qualifications:

- Minimum 5-7 years Travel Industry accounting experience - Strong experience with Financial Accounting - Thorough knowledge of TRAMS back-office accounting system - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, in particular Excel & Word - ARC & BSP reporting knowledge - Strong written, verbal & analytical skills -Detail oriented, self-motivated team player -Ability to work effectively with other managers and directors - Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues - High attention to detail and accuracy -The Company provides - A fun working environment with a great client base - Full benefits package including short/long term disabilty - above average pay - Monthly Phone allowance and much more..................
